Business Professionals of America, Texas Association is having their State Leadership Conference in Fort Worth, March 2 5, 2011. BPA is a middle level, high school, and college student organization for those interested in the field of business. Through national affiliation, Business Professionals of America, Texas Association contributes to the preparation of a world class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills. Approximately 2,500 students will be competing at the state level in order to qualify for the national leadership conference in Washington, DC in May 2011. Approximately 250 judges are needed for the following judged events – these contests could not take place without the volunteer efforts of the community.
There are individual and team judged events that will take place on Thursday, March 3; Friday, March 4; and Saturday, March 5. There will be a complimentary lunch at 12:00 pm for those judging from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. There will be a complimentary breakfast at 7:00 a.m. for those judging in the morning from 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. and a complimentary lunch at 1:00 p.m. on Friday for those judging from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. There will be a complimentary breakfast at 7:00 a.m. for those judging in the morning from 8:00-12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
